Last Ray of Sun is the feeling of sitting in the final light of the day — and following the sun until the very last ray disappears beyond the horizon.  We want to bring that universal moment of calm, reflection, and presence into the home. A sense of being surrounded — by light, by form, by materials. By art, design, and thoughtful craftsmanship.

We embrace the mindset of buying less — and buying better. Choosing fewer, but well-crafted objects made to last a lifetime. And beyond.

Last Ray of Sun is a small brand. But we hope our work can help the sun shine just a little longer — in your home, your daily life, and the way we think about design.

Fewer products. More possibilities.

Our approach to design

We work with honest, clean, and sustainable materials like beech wood, untreated metals, recycled paper, and loose upholstery. Our products are designed to be taken apart and recycled — but more importantly, to be used, loved, and kept.

Good, clever design is our most important tool. To us, the most sustainable product is the one that continues to find purpose in new homes and settings.

Fewer products — more possibilities

We create furniture and lighting that can adapt to many different interiors and atmospheres. Our product range is focused and avoid unnecessary typologies, because we believe brands today have a responsibility: to produce less — and produce smarter.

Our dream: local production

What matters most is our approach to production/overvej at slette. Show don't tell. We have a dream: to produce locally in every market we enter. That way, we avoid shipping air in boxes across oceans. We support local communities, keep production close to the end user, and reduce the need for transporting materials across borders. An approach that is better for the planet, for people — and for the connection between product and place.
We embrace the mindset of buying less — and buying better. Choosing fewer, but well-crafted objects made to last a lifetime. And beyond.
